Privacy Policy

Folio Home by Jules is a small candle studio run by Jules, based in Columbus, Ohio, USA. We collect only the information needed to take your payment, produce your order, ship it, and provide support. This page explains what that is, in plain language.
What we collect
- Your name, shipping address, and email address — so we can make and deliver your order and contact you about it.
- Order details — candle selections (Botanical Index numbers), sizes, and quantities.
- Payment confirmation from our payment processor — so we know your order is paid.
Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor, on Stripe's own checkout page. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address, and card details directly; your card number never touches our servers, and we never see or store it. Stripe's handling of that data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
How we use it
- To process your payment through Stripe.
- To produce and ship your order through our production partner, Printify, who receives your name, email address, shipping address, and order details for that purpose only. Printify's handling of that data is covered by Printify's privacy policy.
- To respond if you contact us about an order.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else except Stripe (payment) and Printify (production and shipping), as described above. We will never send you marketing or promotional email unless you separately opt in — order confirmations and shipping updates are transactional, not marketing.
Cookies and logs
Our site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary security cookies, and necessarily processes visitors' IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site. If you check out, Stripe's checkout page (hosted on stripe.com) applies Stripe's own privacy policy.
Where your data lives
Data is stored and processed in the United States.
How long we keep it
Order and tax records are kept for 7 years, then deleted. Support correspondence is kept for 2 years, then deleted.
Your choices
To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Folio Home is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above.
